From the compass to the electric motor

All experiments and materials of the 'magnetic kit' are also included here.  In addition, a second powerful magnet allows for some extra attempts.
 
After the electromagnet, we move on to building an electric motor that can even power small toys. It can also be operated as a dynamo and lights up a small lamp.

Recommended for 10 years and up.  Some experiments only from 12-14 years and up.
