The knitted nappy forms the core of the Disana nappy system and is the 'growing nappy' for every baby age (the same size is used throughout the diapering years, due to the adjustable tie string). This is why they say, one size fits all, from first day to last day of use.
The highly absorbent organic cotton quickly absorbs and stores a lot of moisture. The absorbency is reinforced by an extra inlay also made of cotton (sold separately). The waterproof cover is the woollen nappy cover that then holds the nappy diaper in place and increases moisture control.
