Felting needles are sharp and fragile so it is essential to have a resilient work surface to protect the needles.  This foam mat from Filges offers a bit of resistance to the needle and is very sturdy to last for many projects.

Mats sold individually: 1.18 inches, 3 cm thick. 18 cm long x 12.5 cm wide.

With the fine structure, the foam mat will last a long time and will not disintegrate quickly.
